Sustainability

At Times Ten, sustainability isn’t just a trend—it’s our foundation. Our raison d'être. We believe fashion should make a statement without leaving a scar on the planet. That’s why we’re committed to crafting stylish, impactful clothing that respects both the Earth and the people who call it home.

Our commitments

Materials

Our commitment to the planet starts with the fabrics we use. Every piece in our collection is crafted from between 20% and 100% recycled materials, reducing waste and giving new life to textiles that would otherwise end up in landfills. By choosing recycled fabrics, we significantly cut the need for resources like water, energy, and raw materials. We partner with some of the most renowned and trusted production experts in the industry, ensuring not only the highest standards and certifications but also uncompromising quality in every piece we create.

Labour

Clothing should never come at the cost of someone else’s wellbeing. That’s why we work exclusively with ethical suppliers who treat their workers fairly and provide safe, respectful workplaces. When you buy from Times Ten, you’re supporting a supply chain built on dignity and fairness.

Emissions

Making clothes has a carbon footprint—it’s a reality we take seriously. But we’re not just about reducing emissions; we’re about reversing them. For every product we make, we calculate its carbon footprint from production to delivery and then remove ten times that amount of CO2 from the atmosphere. Through durable carbon removal projects, we lock away emissions for the long term, ensuring a meaningful and lasting impact on the planet.

Transparency

At Times Ten, we believe our customers deserve to know the full story behind their clothing. That’s why we provide detailed financial and carbon accounting for all our garments. By openly sharing this information, we aim to build trust and empower you to make informed choices. This is just the beginning as we aim to expand on this transparency as we grow. With Times Ten, you’re not just buying fashion—you’re joining a movement grounded in honesty and accountability.

Carbon Dioxide Removal

Making and shipping clothes releases CO2 into the atmosphere, so we take responsibility for those emissions. For every product, we calculate its carbon footprint in kilograms of CO2e and then remove ten times that amount from the atmosphere.

Here’s how it works: greenhouse gases like CO2 trap heat in the atmosphere, causing the planet to warm. While some CO2 gets absorbed by trees, plants, and oceans, a lot of it stays in the air, contributing to climate change. Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) is about pulling that CO2 out of the atmosphere and locking it away safely for the long term—anywhere from hundreds to thousands of years.

CDR isn’t the same as traditional carbon offsets. Offsets focus on reducing or avoiding emissions elsewhere to compensate for new ones, while CDR directly removes CO2 that’s already in the air. That’s why it’s a more effective solution for addressing climate change.

There are several durable methods to remove and store CO2, like Direct Air Capture, Enhanced Rock Weathering, and Bio-Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage. At Times Ten, we decided to partner with a biochar project. Biochar projects use biomass residues from farms that were going to be burned or left to decay, and convert it into a type of charcoal. This charcoal ('biochar') is made almost entirely out of the carbon that was in the biomass, keeping it safely stored. The biochar is then spread out on fields, enriching the soil and reducing the need for artificial fertilizers.

We didn’t stop at just neutralizing our impact. By removing ten times the carbon footprint of every garment, your purchase is helping clean up the emissions from nine other pieces of clothing. Together, we’re doing more than just balancing the scales—we’re pushing them in the right direction.
